  1. i tried the fan idea too, but it didn't work out. I actually tied some colorful strips to a very small fan in my dorm, but it did not turn out really well. Maybe at that point I had not figured out the manual mode for shutter speed and aperture and the fact that there is a flashlight...
Anyway, I think this picture is pretty cool. The photographer definitely took some time to make the entire picture cute and attractive. and it is amazing that by a faster shutter speed the shape is the blades is actually more clear.
But the problem is, the same as my picture of shower, with faster shutter speed we have to turn on flashlight, and the picture looks not so natural (unless that's what you are going for...) Photo can no longer be the evidence of the reality.
I adjusted the tone of picture with Piscasa, but i still need some solutions for that...

The green and pink there is really really cute.

  2. I like the fan Idea too! I also like the way you set up the picture. I like how white the outside of the window is, and how I cannot tell what is outside. Even though, i think you are on campus, outside looks like a lake with trees..although that is probably a stretch. I enjoy the spray painted spiral o the nattie light box and on the fan. Good job on the shutter speed and being able to see the fan moving slowly and fast. This could be a good subject to do a series on, with different fans, same color spray paint and different shutter speeds.
