i like the first picture because it captures the expression of the eyes really well. His eye is exactly at the point of Rule of the Third. The picture makes me feel moody but it is catchy.--kaini zhou

the second one's awesome. That construction site has been my newly fav. spot for photography since this semester.
but compositionally, you can consider cropping the top part even a bit more, try move the side bar to see the difference. just a thought.
