vanishing point

I have always liked perspective drawings or photos. Photos more so because when someone can take a picture that perfectly demonstrates the theory of perspective, it is truly a great photo.  This i like in particular because of the sidewalk vanishing into the horizon line, and with the building on the right breaking up the negative space, which would have been blank ocean otherwise.  Also how it seems that that the building's lines are in line with the same vanishing point as the sidewalk.

  1. In addition to the lines that you have pointed out, I really like the colors in this photo. They fall into two primary categories, blue and reddish-brown. This gives a good contrast between the building and the sidewalk and the ocean and sky, while remaining relatively simple and not making the picture too busy.

  2. This one is so beautiful and simple. I like how there are only four/five shades of color in the photo. The blues and greens are so rich, while the clay color of the building and walkway are toned down yet they create a sense of balance. Vantage points are hard to draw! It's nice to see one in a photograph. -Tali
